Easter...

What a bad week for workouts.

My parents came down from interstate, and only really get to see them once a year, so spending as much time as I can with them. They loved seeing Lauren and Aston, and it's great to see them spending time with their grandson.

As for nutrition, well.... chocolate is the enemy. But hey, it's easter, and it's what you do.

As for the workouts, we've decided to restart this week from day 36. So we'll restart with the Chest/Tri's/Shoulder workout and go from there. It's just easier, and I'd rather do more than less.

It puts our end date out by a week, but meh, I don't want to miss days, I'd rather repeat them if we've had to miss days.

Day 36

Today was Chest/Shoulders/Tri's.

What a workout! My entire upper body is on fire. I couldn't do another push up if I had Scarlett Johansson offering her services for one measly pushup. I was that fatigued, I attempted a single arm push up, and collapsed in a sweaty failed heap.

Shoulders and tri's are pumped as after the workout. And the man boobs are slowly melting away. Good to see some definition finally!

Lauren was complaining of a headache the whole time (is it a chick thing with the headaches when there's something they don't want to do?), so she took it easy. Still completed the workout, but not to the intensity she normally does. She's still running around trying to find the best light and angle to show off her little bicep hahahaha

Plyometrics tmw. Bring on the rockstars!

Day 35

Rest day! Oh yeah....

Day 34

Kenpo today. Love doing this workout. I sweat more doing this then any other workout. I can do X jumps awesome now too. No pause in the middle - hit the deck, and bounce again. Wicked!

Love the bit at the end with the vertical punches, I went schizo at the end, though my arms were gonna fly off and smash though our plasma TV.

We also did the Ab Ripper today as we didn't have time for it yesterday. I can finally do crunchy frogs!!!! Lauren looked at me and though I was a retard, cause she's been doing them all along.

Mason twists at the end is always a good bonus.

Day 33

Today was Legs/Back and Ab Ripper.

Wall squats are getting easier now. I could hardly hold myself before, but can now do a whole session without collapsing hahahah

Still gotta look after my knee though, it was getting a bit twingy in some exercises. It's all good though.

Lauren is able to do more pull ups now too, albeit with the aid of the chair. She was stopping on 5 or 7 reps, but told her to use the chair more for the last few. She should be aiming for at least 10 every time with the chair.

Mine are coming along fine. Doing more and more wide grip chins now, which is good.

Had a MASSIVE feed of fish afterwards as well. Think I ate my own body weight in fresh whiting =)

Day 32

Today was yoga. I hate yoga. It's sooooooooooo long.....

Day 31

Back and Bi's today. Wicked workout! Good for some variation on the normal back and bi routine. The guns were PUMPED after the workout. Lauren was running around trying to get the best light on her arms to show off her 'golf balls'. I thought they looked more like walnuts, but she was happy.

Had a good protein shake afterwards too. Already looking forward to the next Back and Bi's session!

Day 30

Plyometrics today. Love plyometrics. My knees don't though. I've buggered both of them with various accidents/incidents over the years, so don't do too well on the squat jumps. Still do what I can though. I can't do the squat spins, so spend my time doing jumping jacks instead. At least it still gets the heart going.

Gotta make more protein bars tmw, can't wait!

Back and Bi's tmw, with Ab Ripper. Haven't done the Back and Bi's workout yet, so looking foward to feeling the burn!
